go lady patriots!

last night was the end of season picnic for us soccer girls. and i can honestly say i am going to miss these girls and the whole season tremendously! they are all amazing girls! it was sad to see some of the seniors graduate knowing that they won't be playing for the patriots next year, but the picnic was a lot of fun and i look forward to hanging out with these girls even though the season is over! GO PATRIOTS!!

oh, and that award up there is the clutch kick award that i got, it made everything i put into this season soooo worth it! [=

CYIA

It's that time of year again...time to get ready for CYIA, only this year i'm not gonna do it in NH, i'm doing it in VA, and its been really hard for me lately cause as you can see...i've made a lot of memories with a lot of people in NH. i'm gonna miss them so much! But i'm willing to give VA CYIA a try[=

Soccer, soccer and soccer...

i just have to say that i am having a BLAST with the girls on my team[= they all mean sooo much to me! the girl at the top in the pic with me is Hannah...(you might know her as the worlds best sweeper) she was one of the first girls that i met and she's been an amazing friend to me! <3 The girl in the third pic with me is faith...or my peanut butter buddy "jiffy" because my peanut butter nickname is "skippy"...if you're not understanding this, just understand it's one of those things that you just have to be there to get it[= the girl in the 4th pic is Leah, she's pretty cool when it comes to scoring goals and i like having her as my left forward! Now as for the girl in the last pic...let's just say we MUST be long lost twins! it's kinda funny! we both like the patriots as you can see, and coordinated our soccer practice clothes to prove such a point. Anyways, enough rambling about my team...just know i LOVE them a ton!

Easter Egg Hunt and festivities

The church we go to had an easter egg hunt for the community and the youth group got there early to help set up and hide eggs and shtuff (over 800 to be more precise) and i got to chaperone the kids 5 and under on their hunt, as well as do face painting...that was a TON of fun[= i love doing artsy shtuff and things with kids, so it was definitely a fun time!

Acquire The fire

I had the opportunity to go on a youth trip to "acquire the fire" for the first time. it was definitely amazing! we had sooo much fun---once we got there---we started out leaving the church parking lot in good spirits...scheduled to arrive there at about 8:30pm, well, not 20 minutes into the trip, we pull off at kohls...we have trailor problems)= but that was all fixed after about a half hour of waiting on the bus...an hour later, everything is great, ipods are out, fingers texting and playing ds's and what not, when we pull off at a church...we have a flat tire. we waited in that church parking lot for over two hours and didn't get to the hotel until 10:30....we ordered pizza and hung out for a while and then went to bed (i got about 3 hours of sleep). but, the next day was full of fun and concerts and speakers, it was amazing! Then, we were gonna leave Sunday morning, and it turned out we were all awakened by the fire alarm. yes. the fire alarm. there wasn't a fire, but we were all certainly wide awake! and we were surprised that nothing went wrong with the trip home. it was definitely a very interesting trip[=

monday was our first scrimmage game...it was a ton of fun. ( i got to play center forward...my favorite position!) We ended up winning 6-0 so that was a good first game experience for me with this team[=

Spaghettti Dinner and Dessert Auction...

Every year the youth group puts on a spaghetti dinner and dessert auction for the church and anyone else who wants to come. The teens then act as waitresses and waiters by getting them drinks, salads, spaghetti, etc. After the dinner is over there is a dessert auction. (people in the church and in the youth group make desserts to be auctioned off) all of the money that was raised will go towards the youth fund. It was a really fun night [= Oh, and that dessert that looks like a zebra...i made it!

I have been having OOOODLES of fun with this little one right here! She is at like the funnest age ever! Lately, i've been doing her nails (quite often i might add) and it is so cute because she absolutely loves her "pretty's" She just sits on my little computer chair and lets me touch her fingers and toes so that she can get her "pretty's" right now i believe she has purple and green on every other fingernail or toenail! She also enjoys baking with me...as long as i share the batter with her:) and then of course theres the cuddles, the reading and what not....anyways...just thought i would say that i have the cutest little sis ever!
